I am a contemporary figurative painter based in Atlanta, GA.

Drawing and painting have been constants throughout my life. After studying art throughout middle and high school, I pursued a career in design, believing art was something I loved but not something I could build a future around. For years, I painted one-off pieces tailored to the preferences of others, moving between styles, subjects, and expectations.

Over time, I realized that while I had created many paintings, I had yet to build a body of work that felt distinctly my own.

In 2025, a simple question asked during a company-wide meeting shifted everything: What had I accomplished that year? While I was proud of my career, my family, and motherhood, I found myself longing for something that belonged entirely to me. I returned to the canvas with a new intention - to paint my own stories and to finally see myself not just as a painter, but as an artist.
